girls weekend!!

Last weekend Shasta, Mom, Ceara, Laura, and I met up with Ana and Oliver in Maple Grove for a weekend of shopping!! We left the house at about 9am...way too early for me!!

The hotel we stayed in was pretty 'fancy'...we even had a full size fridge, stove and a dishwasher in our suite!! The motel also had a library, conference room, computer room, and a hot and cold continental breakfast!! lol!

Ana was our driver for the weekend!! She is kind of a scary driver...whipping U-turns with the big 15 passenger van and all!! We all just laughed at her!

And after 2 days of shopping, and going to more then 20 stores...we were done!! It was a great weekend!!

Lilly

Over Labor day Weekend, Shasta and Jon got their first foster child!!
Everyone loves her and there is always a waiting line to hold her!!

Lilly had to stay in the hospital for awhile, but she came to live with Shasta and Jon when she was about four days old.

She has such full lips!!

A fair amount of hair!!

pumpkin carving party!!

Sunday afternoon we had a pumpkin carving party!!

First we had a very good fall meal of onion soup, ham and scalloped potatoes!!

Then we all carved the pumpkins we chose from the garden!!

Elsie would not put her hand in the pumpkin...she would only use a spoon!!

But she used her hand for Lilly's...until she fell off the chair!!

We were all shooting seeds and wound up with them all over!!

Mom found stencils online and copied them off...so some of us used those.

Now we have to wait for Halloween! We are going to Ana and Brandon's

house and going to a costume party that Brandon's band is playing at!!
